Facilitation - becoming a Sounding Board
Sometimes you need "fresh blood" to come in and help you and your staff see things from a different perspective. Or, perhaps you need a bit more of a structure imposed to help distill goals and objectives into a cohesive, synergistic plan to guide your organization for the next year. Perhaps there is conflict in an organization - an outsider can often provide objectivity and counsel to help mediate the dispute and help direct future activities. All of these scenarios define instances where we have worked with clients for periods ranging from one-day to one-week to assess a short-term need. It's money well spent for the client, because it often enables them to break a logjam and jump on a more productive rail. It's fascinating [and challenging!] for us, for we learn the details of a specific arena and "cross over" to make application to proven models and techniques.
